San Pedro Nuevo Water Project Construction
I spent one day with local NGO "Nuevas Esperanzas" while they were building a water system in the rural village of San Pedro Nuevo. Before the system was built the only water sources in the village were hand-dug wells that were contaminated with naturally-occurring arsenic. Completed, the system provides 35 houses with clean drinking water via metered private tap stands. These photos were taken during the construction phase while pipes were being laid and water meters installed.
